Four Bulldogs Earn All-SEC Honors

The Post season honors continue to roll in for the Mississippi State football program. The Liberty Bowl bound Bulldogs landed four players on the 2007 All-SEC Team.

Michael Brown was the lone Bulldog to make the conference's all league honors on offense with a 2nd Team All-SEC selection.

Brown, a College Park, Georgia native, has helped provide a gelling effect to one of the conference's top offensive lines.

The Bulldogs emotional leader, Titus Brown, was tabbed as a 2nd team selection. Brown was among the conference leaders in both sacks and tackles for loss.

Fort Pierce, Florida product Jamar Chaney earned his first All Conference selection as a second team linebacker.

Chaney, the team leader in tackles, finished 16th in the league in total tackles.

Derek Pegues earns his second consecutive selection on the SEC's post season list. Derek was selected as an All-Conference second team safety.

Pegues, a former MVP of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, has made a name for himself as a playmaker wearing the Maroon and White and is expected to garner pre-season All-SEC honors in 2008.
