Bulldogs KO Kats In Fourth Quarter of 1000th Game

Technically speaking, the 1000th football game in Mississippi State history might not have been a thing of beauty. But as Coach Sylvester Croom beheld his team's 22-7 victory over Kentucky, at least one fundamental fact did shine like a piece of fine art.

"Part of winning is finding a way to win, regardless of how you play," Croom said. "And we did that today." The Bulldogs were able to win regardless of a less-than-perfect effort and walk off Scott Field now 3-5 and 2-3 SEC.
