2015 QB Justin McMillan has committed to LSU after landing an offer at camp.
McMillan Says Geaux
He has decided after picking up an offer from the LSU Tigers after a strong camp performance that he will be calling Baton Rouge home.
Cedar Hill head coach Joey McGuire confirmed the news with Scout on Wednesday afternoon.
"My 2015 QB Justin McMillan committed to LSU," McGuire confirmed. "So excited for Justin. He has worked his tail off to get to this point."
It was his camp performance that earned him the offer, an offer that he did not have to think about for long.
"He went to there three day camp and was on fire," McGuire added. They said he competed everyday in every drill. Strongest arm they had seen."
McMillan, rated as Scout three-star prospect, McMillan is one of those players with a big upside.
But when talking about his upside you can not talk about his upside as a winner at all. In his first full year under center he led Cedar Hill to a 5A state championship.
As a junior, McMillan completed 60% of his passes racked up over 2,500 yards and scored 32 touchdowns to earn Second Team 7-5A All-District and Honorable Mention All-State honors.
