Davis meets Saban at camp

There's a notion in recruiting that places the son of any player that used to play for said school is at the forefront of the present team's recruiting and expected signee list. It is not always the case, but one can't argue the priority status of Alabama linebacker legacy Ben Davis, who got his first impression of Nick Saban and vice versa Monday during the program's camp session.

Wayne Davis is the all-time leader in tackles at the University of Alabama, a respectable feat for any school, much less one known for its defensive standouts.
