Johnson, Tight Ends Setting Fast Spring Pace

They are off to a fast spring start, which is fine and Bulldog-dandy of course. Yet this only expands the expectations of Mississippi State's tight ends according to the unit's headliner. "We've still got a lot of things to improve on," says Malcolm Johnson. "The first of which is not get complacent, and just keep getting better day by day."

Admittedly if any area on this offense could justifiably go into week-two of Mississippi State's spring practices feeling satisfied, it would be Johnson and his cohorts. Through the first couple of camp days they have more than lived-up to forecasts by Coach Dan Mullen that they would be setting a pace for the entire receiving corps.
