Travis Dickson finished his junior season with over 80 tackles. On offense he averaged over 6 yards per carry as a fullback. He benches 310-pounds, squats 425 and claims a 34-inch vertical jump.
Named 2nd team All-State by the Clarion Ledger. Named to the All-South Mississippi team by the Biloxi Sun Herald. Named 1st team All-State by the Mississippi Association of Coaches.
Dickson says he’s considering majoring in either business or wildlife management. He reports a 3.7 core GPA and a 21 ACT.
Dickson: “I have good pursuit and never quit on a play. I’m hard-nosed and never stop going.
“I like both offense and defense and will play whatever as long as it gets me on the field.
“I want to make more plays though and I’m working on getting stronger. I want to get quicker and be able to break tackles better too.”
Travis is the son of former Mississippi State player Dick Dickson and the brother of senior LSU tight end Richard Dickson. |
