Three-year starter and two-time all-district performer at Shelbyville Central (TN) HS...Averaged a team-leading 23.1 pts, 7.3 reb and 3.0 stl per game, along with 2.5 ast as a senior to earn Class AAA Mr. Basketball honors as accorded by the TN Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA)...Also named to the TN Sports Writers Association's All-State team as well as picking up All-Midstate First Team accolades from The Tennessean newspaper as a senior...Named District 8-AAA co-MVP this past year...Played against fellow MSU freshman Jarvis Varnado in this year's East-West TN All-Star Game played in Franklin...Completed his four-year prep career as Shelbyville Central's all-time leading rebounder (681) and No. 2 all-time scorer with 1,768 career points...Also finished second on the school's all-time chart with 194 career steals, in addition to handing out 259 career assists...Earned All-District 8-AAA honors and was named team co-MVP as a junior after averaging a team-leading 17.6 pts and 7.1 reb per game...Averaged 8.4 pts and 4.2 reb per contest as a sophomore starter.
