Selected to play in the Max Emfinger All-American Bowl Game Classic all-star game at Shreveport, LA, following his senior season in 2006...Had one catch for 43 yards in that game...Credited with running a 4.48 in the 40-yard dash by recruiting web site Scout.com...Played just two years of high school football...Named second-team, all-state at wide receiver following his senior season at Carthage (MS) HS by the Jackson Clarion-Ledger...Selected first-team, all-state in Class 3A by the Mississippi Association of Coaches...Had more than 600 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns during his senior season...Had 18 catches for 428 yards, a 23.8-yard average, and four touchdowns during his junior campaign...Also a standout basketball and track performer on the high school level...Scheduled to run both the 200 and 400 meters in track at State as well...Ran a state-best 48.3 in the 400 meters on the high school level...Other top scholarship offer: Miami (FL).
