Will sit out the 2006-07 campaign at Mississippi State after transferring from the University of Louisville this past off-season.

Pre-MSU
Attended the University of Louisville for two seasons, lettering the 2005-06 campaign and receiving a medical redshirt in 2004-05...Averaged 3.2 pts and 3.2 reb per game a year ago for the Louisville Cardinals...Averaged 10.3 min per contest in 30 games played as a redshirt freshman in 2005-06, shooting 54% from the field and 64% from the line for the year...Started five of the last 10 games a year ago in place of the the injured David Padgett, averaging 4.8 pts (58% FG's & 72% FT's) and 5.5 reb, along with 16.5 min per outing, during the late-season stretch...Received a medical redshirt season in 2004-05 after his third knee surgery in six months sent him to the sidelines.

Averaged 13.9 pts and 9.3 reb per game as a senior at Oak Hill Academy (VA)...Connected on 66% of his field goals and 69% of his charity tosses as a senior...Earned second-team Street & Smith's All-America honors in 2003-04 after finishing just seven rebounds shy of Oak Hill's single-season rebounding record held by current NBA standout DeSagana Diop...Prior to transferring to Oak Hill Academy, attended Bishop O'Connell (VA) HS, where he averaged 15.8 pts, 10.2 reb and two blocked shots per contest to earn Washington Post All-Metropolitan honors as a junior...Averaged 17.5 pts, 12 reb and five blk per outing as a sophomore...Participated in the 2003 USA Basketball Men's National Team Trials and was named a finalist for the 2003 USA Junior World Championship Team...Earned the distinction of being the younest member of the 2002 U. S. Junior National Team...Averaged 10.0 pts and 9.2 reb in five games as a member of the silver medal-winning East squad during the 2002 USA Basketball Youth Development Festival...Averaged 10.0 pts, 6.7 reb and three blk per game as a freshman.
