Started at defensive end for the North squad in the Georgia North-South All-Star game...Rated the No. 31 prospect in the Peach State by UGAsports.com...Named first-team all-state on the defensive line in the Class 2A division by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution...Despite missing two and one-half games during his senior season, he still managed 140 tackles, 35 tackles for loss, 15 of which were quarterback sacks, 20 quarterback pressures, seven caused fumbles and 12 pass deflections...Recorded 79 tackles, including 13 for loss, seven of which were quarterback sacks, with four fumble recoveries during his junior season...Earned second-team, all-city following that junior campaign...Also a standout at tight end at Crim (GA) HS, he served as the team's deep snapper as well...Also a standout power forward on the basketball team, he was a three-year starter in both football and basketball on the prep level...Ran one leg of Crim's 4x100 meter relay team...Other top scholarship offers: Alabama, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Purdue, Michigan State, Illinois, Georgia Tech and North Carolina.
