MSU CAREER:
2001 (Sophomore) - Played in 9 games, starting 3. Completed 94 of 170 passes (.553) for 1,352 yards and 8 touchdowns. Threw 9 interceptions. Rushed 26 times for 9 yards.
2000 (Redshirt Freshman) - Played in 6 games, passing for 210 yards and 1 touchdown on 18-of-34 passes (.529). Also recorded 1 interception.
Honors: Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the 2000-2001 academic year.
1999 (Freshman) - Redshirted his true freshman season.
HS CAREER:
Rated as one of the top 10 quarterbacks/athletes in the country by Max Emfinger in his postseason National Bluechips magazine....Ranked as the 20th best quarterback in the country by SuperPrep in its postseason issue....Rated No. 3 on the Jackson Clarion-Ledger's list of the top prep players....Named to that newspaper's Dandy Dozen list....Named to that paper's second-team all-state team....Selected to the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game but opted out to rehab his knee....Excellent student who was on his school's honor roll all 12 years. |
