A three-year regular...earned all-district and second-team all-state honors as a junior (2004)...compiled a 7-2 record with a remarkable 0.91 earned run average and registered 73 strikeouts in 61-2/3 innings...in 2003, posted a 6-0 record with a 1.56 earned run average in 2003, helping lead the Wildcats to a 32-6 record and a state title...fastball clocked at 85-87 consistently...recruited by Mississippi State, Southeast Missouri State and Meridian Community College.

Academically, a 4.0 student who made 25 on his ACT...served as class president all four years at Greene County High School...a member of the Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes...son of Andy and Juanita Hollinghead of Leaskesville, Miss.
