2003 Played in two games during his redshirt freshman season, working as a reserve at place-kicker...Handled kickoff duties in the two games in which he worked.
2002 Redshirted his true freshman season.
High School Rated with the top seven place-kickers in the nation by Max Emfinger in his November national bluechips newsletter...Listed No. 4 among place-kickers in the southeast by PrepStar magazine/CBS Sportsline.com...Said to have "one of the strongest legs among high schoolers in America" by that publication...Finished his prep career ranked #6 nationally in career kick scoring with 219 points...Included in his field goal total was a Louisiana state-record, 59-yard field goal...Additionally, 50 of his 55 kickoffs went for touchbacks...Honor Roll student on the prep level who was named Academic All-State...He was one of six students chosen in northeast Louisiana as a scholar athlete for the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.
