Gene's Page recently caught up with Mississippi State men's assistant basketball coach Phil Cunningham for an interview. Cunningham, a former graduate assistant coach at MSU under Richard Williams during the 1991-92 season, spent three seasons as the head coach of the NAIA's Sue Bennett College and five seasons at the side of the legendary Charles "Lefty" Driesell as an assistant coach at James Madison and Georgia State before rejoining the MSU staff as a full-time assistant coach in 2000-2001.
