10/24/03 - I attended the Coahoma CC at East Miss. CC game last night. Players to watch:
Zac Anderson - EMCC, Freshman, DE, 6-4, 261, Baldwin County HS (Bay Minette, AL). Keep an eye on this guy.
Renuel Green - EMCC, Sophomore, LB, 6-3, 217, McAdory HS, (McCalla, AL). Could play safety in D-I.
Jarris Williams - EMCC, Freshman, RB, 5-10, 191, Camden County HS (St. Mary's, GA). Excellent speed.
Deljuan Skinner - EMCC, Sophomore, OT, 6-5, 319, Starkville (MS) HS. Solid offensive lineman.
Marcus Rowe - EMCC, Freshman, DT, 6-4, 312, West Point (MS) HS.
Julius McClellan - CCC, Freshman, WR, 6-4, 217, Kathleen (FL). Although he is big for a wide receiver and you don't expect a guy this size to move well, he showed great quickness and speed. He also has very good hands. If he continues to improve he could be one of the best juco wide receivers in the nation next year.
Cedric Jones - CCC, Freshman, DT, 6-5, 320, Randolph Clay (GA). Showed good quickness. Just needs to learn to how to use his hands to break loose from blocks.
10/13/03 - Mississippi Gulf Coast CC defensive end Elbert Shumake (6-3, 245, 4.7) has a final five that includes UCF, Tennessee, Southern Miss, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. So far, UCF (University of Central Florida) is showing the most interest.
