Montrell Conner To Transfer

Mississippi State redshirt freshman running back Montrell Conner has decided to transfer to Co-Lin Community College for the 2010 season.

Mississippi State redshirt freshman running back Montrell Conner, after conferring with his family, his high school coach and the Mississippi State coaching staff the past few days, has decided to transfer to Co-Lin Community College. Conner had missed the past few days of practice while he debated whether to leave MSU or not. Transferring to Co-Lin CC will allow him to be closer to his family.

Conner was a highly recruited four-star athlete out of high school who chose Mississippi State over numerous offers from colleges throughout the country.

Co-Lin CC is coached by former Mississippi State assistant coach Glenn Davis.
