"They told me I did really well and that I was moving up on their list," said Bobby. "We did a lot of technique drill and we worked on flipping our hips and things like that.
"I learned a lot. I am a flat footed guy, so I had to work on my balance drills and things like that.
"I really like Coach Smith. He's a real down to Earth guy and he shoots you straight. He's a good coach and I learned a lot from him."
Growing up in Alabama, Bobby had not had the chance to tour Starkville or Mississippi State. It appears the unofficial visit exceeded his expectations.
"This was my first time I over here," said McCain. "After going over there I have to say it was gorgeous. I loved it there. I didn't know what to expect, but I thought everything was beautiful.
"My family really liked it too, especially my dad. My dad really liked the people there. He said he doesn't want me around people who say one thing while you're there and then something else when you're not around.
"He said he thought the people over there were good people and that they would always be straight with me."
The Bulldogs remain high on Bobby's list, but he has no plans to make a decision in the near future. He is still getting to know the schools that are making him a priority.
"I am not sure where I am going next, but I am thinking about going up to Kentucky," said McCain. "I am going back to Mississippi State on July 23rd for the Big Dawg camp."
