Points and yards rightfully grab the most attention. Yet there is another leading indicator to why Mississippi State's air-offense has been much more productive the season: the quarterbacks have better time to toss. After giving up 36 sacks in 12 games last fall, State's 2009 slingers have been dropped for losses 14 times in ten games.

"Our pass blocking has been really better this year," said ORT Addison Lawrence. "It feels good, I know last year we caught a lot of flack for sacks. It feels good to actually have people compliment us this year, so it's good." That's a fact.
