Akeem Lofton Recommits To MSU

Wayne County High School wide receiver/quarterback Akeem Lofton told Gene's Page Monday night that he has recommitted to Mississippi State.

Did you go on an official visit this past weekend?
"No sir."

Weren't you supposed to go on your Ole Miss visit this past weekend?
"I was supposed to but I cancelled it."

Are you going on a visit this coming weekend?
"No sir."

Have you recommitted to Mississippi State?
"Yes sir."

I guess the MSU coaches were glad to hear that?
"Yes sir (laugh)."

So, I can move Akeem Lofton's name back to the commitment list?
"Yes sir."

I guess all you are waiting on is signing day?
"Yes sir."

Are you going to sign the first day that you can?
"Yes sir."
