Malcolm Johnson was the hero Friday night as Northridge (3-1) upset Minor 26-24.
Johnson found the end zone three time as he hauled in scoring strikes from 13,14 and 37 yards which proved to be the game winner.
Curtis Virges enjoyed a win and Michael Carr converted a two point conversion as West Point (2-1) drilled Starkville 33-13.
Jameon Lewis took just about all of the second half off as top ranked Tylertown rolled into 6A Vicksburg and blasted the Gators 42-7.
The 3A Chiefs are now 4-0 with wins over 5A McComb, 6A Ocean Springs, 4A Lawrence County and 6A Vicksburg.
Kaleb Eulls had nearly 100 yards rushing, but it was not enough as Yazoo City knocks off Yazoo County (1-3) 22-16 in the annual rivalry game.
Brandon Hill and West Lowndes (3-1) tasted defeat for the first time this season at the hands of Philadelphia. The 48-16 lopsided affair was over rather quickly.
