Girodo is a 6-1, 176-pound left-handed pitcher from Hartselle High School, where he is coached by William Booth and is a teammate of 2008 fall MSU baseball signee Luke Bole. Ogden, a 5-10, 175-pound shortstop, plays for coach Harvey McIntyre at Blinn (Texas) College. He is the second Blinn College signee on MSU's 2008-09 baseball recruiting class, joining fall baseball signee Trey Johnson.
"We're looking forward to having Chad and Jonathan in our program," said Cohen. "They both fall into that 'late-bloomer' category. They've had tremendous seasons this spring and both have the ability to make our program better immediately."
The two join 14 Mississippi State baseball signees announced during the November recruiting period.
