Bulldogs Keep Intense Pace For Last Camp Week

The camp-calendar is short, and the to-do list still long. Which is why Coach Dan Mullen spent much of Tuesday's practice pushing the Bulldogs for ever-more efforts. "These are huge practices," he said as Mississippi State began the final week of spring with a two-and-a-half hour session. "I thought our guys came out and played well today, and continued what I want to see."

Huge, because while the schedule shows four work days in this concluding week of Mullen's first spring only two of them—today and Thursday—are practice dates in the normal sense. The third will be as much organizing and preparing for the intrasquad game, and the last the Maroon-White finale itself.
