STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen has planned five stops across the Southeast Region next week, the Bulldog Club announced today.

Following Monday events in the Mississippi Delta and Memphis areas, Mullen and other university officials will speak to fans in Nashville, Hattiesburg and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Each of the events is open to current Bulldog Club members as well as the general public.

The tour will begin with a stop at the Charles W. Capps, Jr. Entrepreneurial Center in Stoneville, Miss., on Monday, January 12. The lunchtime event begins at 12 noon, and will feature comments by Mullen as well as director of athletics Greg Byrne. Admission is 12 dollars, and lunch will be served during the event.

Later that day, Mullen speaks to fans at the Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Center in Olive Branch, Miss. The evening event begins with a reception at 6 p.m., and a program featuring comments by Mullen and other university officials begins at 7 p.m. Admission is 10 dollars, and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served during the event. There will also be a cash bar available during the reception hour.

On Tuesday, January 13, fans can visit with the new head football coach at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville. Admission is 10 dollars for the 6 p.m. reception hour and program beginning at 7 p.m.

Thursday, January 15, Mullen travels to the Hattiesburg Country Club for a lunchtime event. A buffet lunch will be provided during the event, which begins at 12 noon, and again admission is 10 dollars.

Thursday evening, the coach will conclude his tour with a stop at the Great Southern Club, located at the top of the Hancock Plaza in Gulfport. The 6 p.m. reception and 7 p.m. program will cost 10 dollars.
