MSU's Tyler Moore: A Late Bloomer

Based on his stats the last couple of years at Meridian Community College and currently at Mississippi State, it would probably come as a surprise that MSU first baseman Tyler Moore, who is currently hitting .298 with 10 home runs and 34 RBI for the Bulldogs, was not a hot shot recruit coming out of high school.

"Yeah, I was a late bloomer," said Tyler Moore, who hit .350 his junior year in high school, then earned Louisville Slugger All-American and Mississippi Player of the Year honors after hitting .473 with 16 home runs and 65 RBI his senior season.
