LEXINGTON, Ky. - Friday night’s scheduled series-opening baseball game between Mississippi State and the 10th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats (23-4, 5-4 SEC) has been postponed due to wet grounds at UK’s Cliff Hagan Stadium. It has been rescheduled as part of a Saturday doubleheader that will begin at 2 p.m. CT.

The Saturday twinbill is the third this season for Mississippi State (13-15, 2-7 SEC).

Junior right-handers Chad Crosswhite (2-2, 11.78) and Lee Swindle (2-2, 4.91) are the Bulldogs’ scheduled pitchers.
