STARKVILLE, Miss. - Seventeen Mississippi State student-athletes were scheduled to graduate this weekend, including 10 Bulldog football players, according to MSU’s athletic academic office.
Derek Ambrose, Odell Bradley, Rico Bennett, Brandon Downing, Brett Morgan and Carlton Rice (physical education), Keith Andrews (biological sciences), Brad Horton (general business administration), and Jason Husband and Dezmond Sherrod (risk management, insurance and financial planning) are the 10 football players on track to receive diplomas this weekend.
Basketball player Blessing Chekwa (physical education), golfers Stephanie Godare (psychology) and Ashleigh Korzack (general business administration) and track athlete Lauren Johnson (business information systems) are women’s athletes scheduled to graduate.
Baseball players Jon Crosby (general business administration) and Alan Johnson (management of construction and land development), and track athlete Kendall Pyant II (physical education) were awarded diplomas on the men’s side.
