"I committed to MSU about a week ago," said Tyler. "I called Coach Raffo and told him and he was really pumped up. I got to speak to Coach Polk. He was excited. I was excited. It was just great. I was real impressed with the class they are putting together. I love the campus and the facilities. It's a great program."
Moore closed his recruitment down despite heavy interest from Arkansas and Ole Miss. The All-Region and All-State selection hit .300 a year ago with 15 homeruns and 50 RBIs and is expected to play first base in Starkville.
Tyler reports he has been a long-time follower of the MSU baseball program.
"I grew up an MSU fan, but my family is all Ole Miss," said Moore. "My parents told me to do whatever I wanted to do and they were real happy for me. I have a lot of aunts and uncles who are big Ole Miss fans, but they said they would wear a Bulldog hat for me."
