Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, Mississippi has 12 players, including 2 freshmen, who are receiving D-I looks. Players placed and expected to re-sign with the colleges they signed with out of high school are not listed.

  • Desmond Hunter (So., OT, 6-4, 285) - Played for John F. Kennedy Memorial High School in Mound Bayou, MS. Has the size college recruiters are looking for in offensive tackles. Recruited by University of Louisiana at Monroe and Ole Miss out of high school. As a juco, has received letters from Oklahoma State, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Jackson State and North Texas. Favors Oklahoma State, North Texas, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Jackson State.

  • Carron Conner (So., FS/CB, 6-0, 194) - Played his high school ball at Coahoma County High School in Clarksdale, MS. Has the size to play defensive back on the college level. Has received letters from Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Oregon State. Favors Louisiana Tech.

  • Brandon Whittie (So., MLB, 6-2, 235) - Played high school ball at Englewood High School in Jacksonville, FL. Has the size and speed to be an impact player on the next level. Signed with Mississippi State out of high school, but open to other schools now. Receiving interest from Iowa State (offer), Mississippi State (offer), Southern Miss, Oklahoma State and Kansas State. Favors the two schools that have offered him, Iowa State and Mississippi State.

  • Lenell King (So., WR, 6-1, 175) - Played for John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. Has the right combination of size and speed to be a solid wide receiver on the next level. Has received letters from Oklahoma State, Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech. Favors those three and would like to hear from BYU, Florida and Ole Miss.

  • Cassanova Wooten (So., WR/PR, 6-2, 183) - Helds from Melrose High School in Memphis. Out of high school, heard from Kentucky, Memphis and Texas A&M. Since he's been in juco, he has received letters from Louisiana Tech, Kentucky, BYU, Arkansas, Auburn an Indiana. He's also been in contact with Ohio State via a couple of phone calls. As fo now, he favors the SEC, but is open to all schools.

  • Semaj Williams (So., QB, 6-2, 200) - Played his high school ball at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. Good size for a college quarterback, but will probably play safety on the next level. Received interest from Southern Miss, Ole Miss and Mississippi State out of high school. Currently receiving interest from Toledo. Interested in all schools at this point.

  • Monte Coleman (So., SS, 6-1, 202) - Another former John F. Kennedy Memorial High School football player. Excellent size for a college safety. Received letters from Alcorn State, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and LSU out of high school. Currently receiving letters from Louisiana Tech, Baylor, Iowa State and Southern Miss. Would also like to hear from UCLA, Louisville, Mississippi State and Oklahoma State, but is open to interest from all schools.

  • Antonio Woods (So., OT, 6-4, 300) - Played his high school ball in Memphis. Great size for an offensive tackle. His brother, Jerome Woods, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. As a juco player, has received letters from Louisiana Tech and Mississippi State. Favors Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

  • Erikson Howard (So., DT, 6-2, 290) - Played for Huffman High School in Birmingham, AL. Good size for an interior defensive lineman. Recruited by Jackson State (offer), North Alabama, Auburn and Southern Miss out of high school. As a juco player has received letters from Louisiana Tech, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Southern Miss and Mississippi State. Favors those five and would also like to hear from Georgia and Louisville.

  • Cedric Harris (So., WR, 6-3, 197) - Came to Coahoma CC from East Lawrence High School in Trinity, AL. Great size and good speed for a wide receiver. Recruited by Southern Miss, Mississippi State, Louisville and Alabama as a senior in high school. Currently being heavily recruited by Oklahoma State and Alabama. Also hearing from Louisville, Baylor, Southern Miss and UAB. Favors Alabama and Oklahoma State over the other schools recruiting him.

  • Terrance Conner (Fr., DE, 6-5, 225) - Played at Coahoma County High School. Recruited by several colleges in high school. Participated in the 2005 Scout.com combined held at Mississippi State. Recorded a 4.88 forty, a 33.5" vertical and a 9'5" broad jump. Has the athletic ability to make a huge splash in the Mississippi junior colleges this fall.

  • Derrick Chatman (Fr., DE, 6-3, 250) - Clarksdale High School alumnus. Has the size coaches look for in a defensive end. Recruited by Delta State, Jackson State, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Southern Miss, Iowa State, Illinois, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee out of high school.
