"The coaches say they like my quickness, my power and how physical I play," explained Marcus. "And that I go 100% every play. They like that."
He named off the list of schools that are calling him on a consistent basis.
"The University of Alabama, Southern (Miss) and Iowa State are the main schools that have called," said Marcus, who has totaled over 60 tackles in 5 games this season.
And two of those three have extended scholarship offers.
"I've received offers from Southern and Iowa State," said the 6-0, 218-pounder.
When asked what schools he has at the top of his list, Marcus said, "the University of Alabama, Southern, Tennessee, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Iowa State."
Although they haven't called, he did mention that Mississippi State is mailing recruiting letters to him. And they are a school he wouldn't mind hearing more from.
"I like State, too, but they aren't on the list like the other ones because they aren't writing me like the other ones," he said. "I've been to all of their home games. I think I could go up there and work hard and play. They are close to home and I'm cool with that."
Will Mississippi State now become a factor in the recruitment of Marcus Jamison? Keep it right here to find out the answer.
