Nick Kyles Commits to MSU

Nick Kyles (6-2, 190, 4.5), one of the mostly highly recruiting wide receivers in the south last year, has committed to Mississippi State.

Nick, as most of you know, was a wide receiver that Mississippi State really coveted during last year's recruiting season. Ultimately, after narrowing it down to Mississippi State and Alabama, he chose Alabama. However, due to being about a point shy on his ACT, he didn't qualify. After that, he re-opened his recruitment.

Now that he has made his decision, who is the lucky school?

"I've committed to Mississippi State and will sign with them in December," said Nick, whose brother Jarvis signed with MSU and is currently a freshman there. "That is where I want to go."

Nick explained why he decided on Mississippi State.

"I decided on Mississippi State because I knew that they really wanted me," said Nick . "And I really did like the school. But a lot of folks, during recruiting time, were in my head and told me to make a certain decision. Sometimes, what you think is best for you isn't. I knew when Alabama wouldn't accept me, I knew this would be the school that I wanted to go to."

As for not qualifying, Nick hopes to take care of that as early as September.

"I am going to take the (ACT) test in September and see how it goes," he said. "I think I can take it up to three times."
