Today is the last 24 hours of a year-long recruiting process for recruits throughout the nation. Like most coaches, the Mississippi State coaches are playing the waiting game for several top recruits. Who are they and where does MSU stand with each? Read inside.

Ryan Perrilloux is a quarterback who is rated among the top 2 to 5 players in the nation by every recruiting service. Ryan, one of the most talented quarterbacks in the last few years, committed to Texas, but has continued to look around. His final three are Texas, LSU and Mississippi State. He is playing it close to the vest and will announce his decision Wednesday on television. Ryan has maintained that his decision will shock the nation. Time will tell.

Derek Pegues is rated the top player in the state and one of the top players and cornerbacks in the nation by all recruiting services. Like Ryan, Derek has kept his thoughts close to the vest. He, along with two of his teammates, will hold a 7:30 a.m. press conference Wednesday in the South Panola High School library to announce what school or schools they will be attending. According to Derek's mother, Candace Fondren, two schools remain in the hunt; Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

Anthony Johnson, a defensive back/wide receiver combination who is considered one of the top players in the state of Mississippi and southeast, is down to two; Southern Miss and Mississippi State. He appears to have been a slight lean to Mississippi State for months, but Southern Miss has made a strong push and may now be dead even with MSU.

Archie Sims, one of the top two linebackers in the state of Mississippi, has his list down to four; Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss and West Virginia. According to his latest interview, he is very confused and will sleep on it and make a decision either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Aubrey Bell is considered one of the best wide receivers in the state of Alabama. He could be a surprise signee Wednesday if certain things happen.

Now, we wait......
