Omarr Conner interview:

You received more playing time in last week's game. Are you starting to feel more comfortable with the college game?
"Yes sir, I felt real comfortable. As a freshman, it felt real good. I'm learning the players better, so they are trying to play me more."

Do you feel you now have the plays down and understand the offensive system?
"Yes sir, I have the system down. I just have to work harder each week to get better on the field."

Has your coach, Coach Holliday, talked about getting you more involved in the game and giving you more playing time?
"Yes sir, my time is coming. I just have to be patient because I'm playing behind great receivers. We have Justin (Jenkins), Ray Ray (Bivines), McKinley (Scott) and Tee (Milons), so I just have to be patient. I pride myself on being patient every day of the week because I know my time is coming."

Your high school teammate, freshman wide receiver Joey Sanders, has been mentioned by the coaches as having some really good practices. Have you also noticed that?
"I think that Joey is doing a good job. He is running great routes. He also has great hands. I know that from high school. I know what he is capable of doing. Joey is letting the coaches know that he can make plays."
