Talk about how you felt your players did after watching the Oregon game film.
"There were some positives. The biggest thing was the kids gave good effort. We were able to come out and run the footbal some. I was pleased with that. We gave Kevin (Fant) some protection early. Then, as the game went on, I think we got a little bit tired. Once it got into a contest where they knew we had to throw it every snap, it got tough.

"We have a lot of work to do in a lot of areas, but the thing I was proud of was the kids did a great job of playing one play at a time and not looking at the scoreboard.

"Technically, there were some things we didn't do as well as we would have liked to, but that will come with playing experience and getting back out on the practice field and working everyday."

Do you give out grades?
"I give a percentage but I don't look at them that much. The grades weren't great. David Stewart led us with 8 knockdowns. Blake Jones was our high grader. I was pleased with both of them. Otis (Riddley) did some real good things and played well for his first start. Will (Rogers) played well."

How many players did you play during the game?
"We played seven. We would like to roll more people in and out to keep us fresh. We probably should have gotten Donovan (Davis) in."

What made you decide not to use Donovan? Were you just going to use him in certain situations?
"No, I had plans on doing it but it was just cold feet on my part. I wanted to make sure I put him in where he has a good chance at success."

Haven't you moved Donovan to guard this week?
"Yeah, I am going to get him ready at guard. He can really do some good things in there. I've just got to put him at one place and let him feel comfortable at that one spot."
