Macon, Miss. is home to less than 2,700 people at this time, but the small town on the eastern side of the state is where you can find Jeffery Simmons.

Plenty of schools are aware of the soon-to-be junior and he has some nice offers already.

"Southern Miss just offered and I have offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas State, Jacksonville State, and Akron too," said Simmons.

Alabama has picked up its interest in the 6-foot-3, 240 pound hybrid and he will camp in Tuscaloosa, Ala. this summer.

The school Simmons knows most about now is located in Starkville, Miss. He has been on that campus quite a bit already.

"I have been to five games at Mississippi State and I have been to camp there and I was there for spring practice this year. I like their defensive line a lot - It is big, it is tough, and Chris Jones (Former 5-Star in 2013) is great."

For now, Simmons is staying open and looking at each school that offers him the same. He grew up a fan of LSU as a kid, but he has yet to hear from the Tigers.

Alabama is a definite when talking camps this summer, but he will likely get out to a few more as well.

Simmons had 71 tackles and 10 sacks in 2013.
