Diamond Dogs Refocus For Four-Game Week

It's only natural to get a little greedy when opportunity arises. Still after the also-natural letdown lifted Sunday afternoon, the Diamond Dogs were content with their place in the bigger picture. "It's huge to take it," said Trevor Fitts. "Obviously we wanted to go for the whole sweep but it's great to take two. Now we're just focused on the next game."

Games, too, because a busy week looms for Mississippi State. After an impressive weekend and a second series victory in as many chances, the Bulldogs aren't free to relax. They do at least have the luxury of four more home games, beginning Tuesday evening against Southeast Missouri.
