Jesse Jackson burst onto the recruiting scene during a breakout junior campaign. During the 2012 season, Jackson hauled in 39 passes for 842 and a team high 11 touchdown receptions. The spring evaluation period brought dozens of college coaches to Petal High School who wanted to learn more about the talented wide out. Most programs offered. Later today, one lucky school will him one of their own.

Mississippi State was the first school to offer, but far from the last.

Jesse Jackson added offers from Alabama, Auburn, Missouri, Ole Miss and Southern Miss before the end of his junior year.

Mississippi State has remained a consistent favorite, but has shared the lead at times with Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss.

Jackson's three finalist for Monday's announcement are Auburn, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

The south Mississippi star plans to major in automotive engineering and has said from the outset that he really wanted to play in the Southeastern Conference.

Jackson camped at Mississippi State and Southern Miss over the summer months and has taken unofficial visits to both Auburn and Mississippi State during the 2013 season.

Shortly after Jackson's game day visit to Starkville to see the Bulldogs take on Troy, Jackson made the decision to announce his college destination on Monday October 7th.
