Paint Production Leads to Bulldog Win

Carnecia Williams leads Bulldogs with 25 points

To close out a two-game homestand the Mississippi State women's basketball team sought a victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide Thursday night. And their dominant post play led them to a dominating 75-51 win.

The Bulldogs, now 12-14 overall and 4-9 in SEC play, worked the mismatches to start the game, scoring their first fourteen points in the paint. In contrast to the rangy LSU team they played previously, Mississippi State found it much easier to reach their post players.
