Tennessee signee Joshua Dobbs

Joshua Dobbs blossomed as a junior at Alpharetta (Ga.) High School completing 75 percent of his passes (294 of 392) for 3,113 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also ran for 200 yards and a couple of TDs. As a senior he tossed 29 more TD passes and added 12 scores on the ground. He was named Offensive MVP for the East in the Georgia Rising Senior Bowl after passing for 237 yards, rushing for another 56 and accounting for three touchdowns in the game. Dobbs, who also drew scholarship offers for his prowess on the baseball field, was voted honorable mention all-state as a senior in football and a finalist for the Elite 11. Exceptionally bright, he has made straight As throughout high school except for one B. He plans to pursue a degree in aeronautical engineering at UT.
