Keeping it Real
Kailo Moore profile "The visit went great," said Moore. "Coach Mullen, Coach (Greg) Knox, and Coach (Melvin) Smith all came to see me. "They told me how much they are excited about me being a Bulldog and how I can make an impact next year on the field. "I felt like Coach Mullen just kept it real with me." Moore reports that Mullen discussed his role in the 2013 Bulldog offense during today's time together. "Coach Mullen says that he expects me to work hard and come in and play as a true freshman," said Moore. "He told me that he expects a lot from me and that at times I am not going to like him because he is going to push me real hard. "He said in the end, I am going to love it because they are going to get the best out of me. "I know I am not going in there and taking (LaDarius) Perkins' spot next year, but Coach Mullen told me I will get some touches and I will play next year." Moore reports that the straight talk from the Bulldogs' head man was real received. "I like how Coach Mullen keeps it real with me," said Moore. "Other coaches want to tell you all this and that, but Coach Mullen told me that it's going to be hard and that I am going to have to work for everything." The All-State selection reports that his commitment to Mississippi State is still very strong. "The visit tonight made me feel even better about going to Mississippi State," said Moore. "Coach Mullen talked to me like I was already on the team. "He talked to me about what he expects of me and about how things will be next year." Rumors have circulated over the course of the past several days that Moore may be softening his stance on a future in Starkville. Moore reports that he is not part of any double talk. "I have not said anything to anybody about flipping," said Moore. "I have told the coaches at Ole Miss, that I am good with Mississippi State. "I know what I have said to people and I have told everybody that I am committed to Mississippi State. "My commitment is solid and I am excited about playing next year at Mississippi State."
