Kailo Moore profile Moore and West Bolivar were stopped short of their goal of defending their 2A state title. The loss in the 2A north state semi-finals brought Moore's Eagle football career to a close. "It feels super funny not to be practicing anymore," said Moore. "I just left the football field a few minutes ago. "Me and my boy, William Lloyd, where out there running and throwing the ball around. "I am trying to keep my body toned and stay in shape for these All-Star games." Moore will represent his home state in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game on December 15th and the Semper Fidelis All-American game January 4th. The delta superstar has been committed to the Bulldogs of Mississippi State since early this summer. Despite his committed status, Moore is still hearing from several schools. "I am still getting calls from the same schools," said Moore. "I had a visit with Ole Miss on Sunday. "Coach (Derrick) Nix came and visited with me. He was the first coach to start recruiting me, so he and I have a little bond." During the visit, Moore did his best to explain to the Ole Miss assistant where he currently stood in the recruiting process. "I told Coach Nix how I felt about Mississippi State and that I am solid in my commitment," said Moore. "Coach Nix told me that he respected my decision, but that he wasn't going to give up on me. "He said that he is going to recruit me all the way to signing day." Moore has attended two Ole Miss home games this season and both times he has had to deal with some speculation regarding his recruitment. "People like to start rumors," said Moore. "I have had all of these people calling me to see what I am going to say and all of that. "I have all of these people I don't know tweeting me telling me I should go to this school or that school. "Some people are nice and just say they would like to see me go to Alabama or that I should consider Oregon. "I know some of them are just fans who want players to come to their favorite school. "It makes me feel good some of the time, but it gets a little irritating sometimes. "I don't know who these people are. A lot of times they don't have a picture on their profile or they have a picture of a player or of their dog. "Some of these are grown people and old people tweeting me telling me what they think I should do." Moore has learned to take the good with the bad when it comes to recruiting. "This is a process that I am going to go through one time in my life, so I try not to let things bother me," said Moore. "I am solid in my commitment and everything is still the pretty much the same with me."
