"My first official visit was to Central Florida," said Sanders. "I had a good relationship with them out of high school and it's still like that now.
"They still have interest in me and I still have some interest in them.
"I got to take the visit and talk with all of the coaches again."
This past weekend, Sanders took an official visit to Mississippi State where he was reunited with a familiar face.
"My visit to Mississippi State went real good," said Sanders. "Coach Geoff Collins is the linebacker coach there and he was the coach that recruited me to Central Florida.
"We have a great relationship and I know he's a good coach. It would be a good thing if I went there because I already know him and I think that would help me get settled and learn the scheme easier."
Sanders was able to make some new friends during his time in Starkville.
"They told me how hard you have to work in the SEC and that you earn everything you get down there.
"They told me that they are having a strong season this year and that they will be even better next year."
This weekend, Sanders will stop in at another SEC western division school to see what his options are there.
"This weekend I am going to Texas A&M," said Sanders. "They have been on me a long time and I know they are coming up.
"They have a young team and they should be good the next couple of years.
"I have talked to the coaches about the schemes that they like to run on defense, so that is something I am looking at."
Sanders has no other official visits set, but he has not ruled out any other trips.
As the holidays approach, Sanders would like to make his decision on a day that is important to him and his family.
"I am thinking about making my decision on December 12th," said Sanders. "That's the day my uncle died, so I might do it on that day to honor him.
"When I got messed over by the clearinghouse, I didn't know what my next move was going to be.
"He went and worked out with me and he encouraged me. He helped me figure things out and helped me find a good JuCo to go to.
"I don't have a top school, but I am looking hard at Mississippi State, Texas A&M and Ohio State.
"Like I said A&M has been on my a long time and I have a good relationship with Coach Collins at Mississippi State.
"Ohio State has been showing me some interest and they say they need a linebacker, so I am still looking at them too.
"I am still open to hear what other schools have to say, but those are the main ones I am looking at right now.
"I don't have any other visits set up right now and we have that national championship game coming up, so I am trying to focus on that right now too."
