"UAB, Mississippi State, Grambling (State), Wichita State and UCF are showing interest in me," said Anderson. "Ole Miss has communicated a little with me. I have received offers from UAB, Mississippi State, Wichita State and Grambling."
As of now, he has three colleges at the top of his recruiting list.
"I'm interested in UAB, Mississippi State and Ole Miss," said Anderson. "They are all even."
What he is looking for in a college is the opportunity to play early.
"I want to be able to come in and start my first year," said the talented sophomore. "I want to be a junior college player who jumps right in."
And Anderson has the kind of talent to do that, too.
He was rated by Baseball America and Perfect Game as the 2nd best pro prospect in the Jayhawk Collegiate League this past summer.
Anderson explained the type player he is on the baseball diamond.
"I'm athletic, have good speed, play good defense, can hit and hit with a little power, and have a good arm," said Anderson, when asked to describe himself.
Keep it on Gene's Page as we continue to follow Anderson's recruitment.
