The MSU commitment scoreboard update is a free weekly feature available to all readers during football season. It allows fans to keep up with how the Bulldogs-to-be are doing in their final seasons before joining the team in Starkville.

Kivon Coman and Florence ended up on the downside of a 35-14 score with Decatur. FHS (4-3) will look to get back on track this week as they play Grissom (1-6).

Brandon Holloway ran for 148 yards and a score on 17 carries last week as Alonso got by Bloomingfield 20-14.

The Ravens remain unbeaten and will face Plant City this week in a huge match-up of 5-0 squads.

Quadry Antoine and Belle Chasse (6-0) knocked off Ryan Brown and Shaw (2-3) 26-7.

Antoine recorded several big hits and scored on a pair of short touchdown runs (6,2) to lead the Cardinals to another win.

Shaw will look to get to .500 this week when they take on McDonough 35.

Torrey Bell and John Curtis blasted J.S. Clark 60-20.

Curtis is now 6-0 on the season and will take on Isidore Newman this week.

Nelson Adams and Brandon got a full dose of Anthony Alford last weekend as the Panthers knocked off the Bulldogs 48-27.

With the loss Brandon falls to 4-3 and will have another tough match-up this week when they play Meridian who is currently 7-0.

Cole Carter and Caledonia are looking for some relief. The Confederates lost to Houston 39-10 this past week and have now dropped four in a row which brings their record to 3-5.

Cedric Jiles and Clinton came up one point short in a barn burner with Murrah. The Arrows fell 42-41 which drops them to 3-4 on the year.

Cedric and the Arrow defense face another strong test this week as they play (7-0) NW Ranhkin.

Xavier Grindle ran for 167 yards, recorded six tackles and nabbed an interception as East Marion (6-1) slipped by Lumberton 8-2.

East Marion will host North Forrest (5-3) and Lelland Ducksworth this week.

Lelland recorded four tackles last week in a 28-0 loss to Bassfield.

Frederick Brown was held to two catches for just 11 yards, but he did manage to find the endzone for one of the Tigers' two scores in a 35-14 loss to NW Rankin.

Jim Hill is now 2-5 on the 2011 campaign.

Gus Walley and Greene County came out on the positive side of a 51-41 affair against Poplarville.

Walley is still the leading receiver for Greene County and the team will look to build on last week's result as they travel to St. Stanislaus this week.

Nick James had a big night against Moss Point. James recorded eight tackles and a sack as the Bearcats prevailed 56-42.

Devon Desper and Madison Central are really beginning to put some momentum together. After dropping their first two games, the Jags have won five straight.

Last week MC won 42-14 over Warren Central and Devon Bell.

Bell turned in a pair of touchbacks, but allowed his first kickoff return of the year.

17 of Devon's 18 kickoffs this year have resulted in touchbacks.

Deonte Evans and McComb fell to 3-3 after losing to Wayne County 49-14.

Deonte ran for 59 yards and a score in the contest. The Tigers will travel to South Jones this week.

Adairius Barnes and Port Gibson lost a tough one to Florence 33-26.

The Blue Waves are 6-2 on the season and will play Magee this week in hopes of improving their chances for the post season.

Will Redmond and Memphis East ran over Melrose 48-0.

East is now 6-1 on the season.
