He was selected in the 36th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft by the Washington Nationals ... His honors for the past three years include making the 2013 Louisville Slugger High School All-American 1st Team, being named the 2013 Gatorade Player of the Year in Mississippi, being selected a member of the 2011 Perfect Game 2nd Team Preseason HS Underclassmen All American Team, the 2012 Perfect Game 1st Team Preseason HS Underclassmen All American Team, and the 2013 Rawlings Preseason Southeast All-Region 1st Team ... In 2013 he hit .389 with 11 home runs, 32 RBI, 43 runs scored, 11 stolen bases and an .874 slugging percentage (he didn't pitch in 2013 due to recovering from Tommy John surgery) ... In 2012 he batted .360 with 7 home runs and 38 RBI. He also had a 6-3 record with a 1.85 ERA ... In 2011 he batted .412 with 3 home runs and 18 RBI in 24 games. He also had a 5-2 record with a 3.18 earned run average on the mound.... Reid played his summer ball with the prestigious summer travel team program, the Marucci Elite 16s.... He didn't pitch in 2013 due to tearing the ACL in his left knee playing basketball this winter ... He recorded a 3.30 ERA with 67 strikeouts in 60 innings in 2012 ... He was a Perfect Game Preseason High Honorable Mention Underclass All American for 2011 and a second-team Perfect Game Preseason All American for 2012 ... Austin played in the Perfect Game National Showcase and has received an invitation to perform in the East Coast Pro Showcase without having to go through the tryouts ... Dakota Hudson, RHP, 6-5, 200, R-R, Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN) HS
He was drafted in the 36th round by the Texas Rangers in the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft, although the Texas Rangers talked to him prior to the draft about drafting him in the 3rd to 4th round if he would accept that amount of bonus money ... His honors include being selected to the Rawlings 2013 Preseason Southeast All Region 1st Team and to the Perfect Game 2012 Preseason Underclass All-American Team as an Honorable Mention selection ... Perfect Game had him ranked the 91st best player in the class of 2013 (all positions) ... During the 2013 season, he had a 6-5 record with a 1.26 ERA and struck out 124 in 64 innings while walking just 16 ... He increased his two-seam fastball velocity from 80-84 to the low-90s (topping out at 95) from his sophomore season to his senior season ... Brent Rooker, OF/1B, 6-4, 185, R-R, Evangelical Christian School (Cordova, TN) HS
His honors include being selected to the Rawlings 2013 Preseason Southeast Region Team as an Honorable Mention selection, and to the Perfect Game 2012 Preseason Unclass All American team as an Honorable Mention selection ... During the 2013 season, he hit .419 with 11 doubles, 8 home runs and knocked in 32 RBI. He also stole 17 stolen bases in 19 attempts ... As a junior (2012), he hit .450 with 15 doubles, 3 triples, 3 home runs and 38 RBI. He also stole 19-of-19 stolen bases ... His honors include being selected a 2013 Louisville Slugger pre-season All-American and the MHSAA 2013 Class 6A Pitcher of the Year ... In 2013 he was 10-1 with a 0.58 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 90 innings ... In 2012 he was 8-1 with a 0.67 ERA and 95 strikeouts in 62.1 innings ... He consistently throws in the 86-87 mph range, topping out at 89 ... Chose MSU over offers from Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tulane, Memphis and Air Force

Ben Hudspeth, RHP, 6-0, 200, R-R, Itawamba (MS) Community College
As a sophomore, Ben earned MACJC 1st-Team All-State honors after going 7-6 with a 3.13 ERA and striking out 57 in 74.2 innings ... As a freshman, he earned NJCAA 1st-Team All-American honors after going 11-0 record with a 1.82 ERA.

Cody Walker, C, 5-11, 190, R-R, Chattahoochee Valley Community College (Phenix City, AL)
During the 2013 season, Cody hit .348 with 1 home run and 25 RBI. He had a .992 fielding percentage and threw out 11 of 19 runners attempting to steal against him .... He hit .312 and had a .996 fielding percentage his freshman season at CVCC ... He chose Mississippi State over Auburn, Alabama and Columbia State University.

Glenn Irby, LHP, 6-2, 205, L-L, Mars Hills Bible School (Florence, AL)
His honors include being selected to the Rawlings Preseason 2013 Southeast All Region 2nd Team and to the Perfect Game 2012 Underclass All American Team as an Honorable Mention selection ... During the 2013 season, he had a 7-4 record .... During the 2012 season, Glenn was 10-0 with a 1.24 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 73 innings .... Dylan Ingram, 1B, 6-4, 210, R-R, Edgewood Academy (AL)
His honors include being selected to the Rawlings 2013 Preseason Southeast Region Team as an Honorable Mention selection ... During his senior season, he hit .433 with 7 home runs and 63 RBI. He earned AISA 1st-Team All-State honors ... As a junior, he hit .541 with 69 RBI. He was the AISA Player of the Year as a junior ... Has outstanding power potential ... He is also an outstanding student with a 4.0+ gpa and a 28 act ... He chose MSU over Auburn, Florida State and several others

His honors include being selected to the Rawlings 2013 Preason Southeast All Region 1st Team ... As a senior, he was 5-2 with a 2.93 ERA and struck out 74 batters in 55 innings ... During his junior season, he was 5-4 with a 1.70 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 61.1 innings ... He throws a 89-92 mph sinking fastball ... Avery Geyer, RHP, 5-11, 195, R-R, Catholic HS (Pensacola, FL)
His honors include making the 2013 Louisville Slugger High School All-American 1st Team, being selected as the Pensacola (FL) News Journal Player of the Year and beling selected to the MaxPreps 2013 Baseball Medium Schools All-American 1st Team ... During 2013 he had a 12-0 record with a 0.74 ERA while striking out 95 in 75.2 innings ... As a junior, he was 9-1 with a 1.45 ERA and struck out 112 in 77.1 innings .... He throws in the 88-92 mph range ... He chose MSU over offers from South Alabama and Southern Miss and interest from ULL, Tulane and UCF.

Jacob Billingsley, RHP, 6-1, 180, R-R, Magnolia Heights (MS) School
His honors inclued being selected to the Rawlings 2013 Preseason Southeast Region team as an Honorable Mention selection and to the MaxPreps 2013 Baseball Medium Schools All-American 2nd Team ... As a pitcher, Billingsley throws in the mid-80s, topping out in the 87 to 88 mph range ... During the 2013 season, he was 10-0 with a 0.54 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 51.2 innings ... He had a 2.22 ERA and a 2-0 record while throwing 41 innings his junior season.

Gavin Collins, C, 6-0, 195, R-R, El Toro HS (Lake Forest, CA)
He was selected to the Rawlings 2013 California All Region 1st Team .... During the 2013 season, he hit .351 (27-for-77) with 5 home runs and 24 RBI ... Gavin sustained an ankle injury that prevented him from playing defensively during the 2013 season .... He is rated a 9.5 out of a 10.0 scale by national scouting service Perfect Game ... Also an excellent defensive catcher with a very good arm; has a 1.90 pop time to second base ... Chose MSU over his other three finalists, Oregon, Arizona State and Fresno State.

Paul Young, RHP, 6-3, 205, R-R, Central Alabama Community College
A hard-throwing righthander (92-94, top 96 mph), Young threw in 13 games and was 5-0, with 2 saves, 5 complete games, 55.1 IP, 41 H, 57 K, 22 BB and a 2.44 ERA this past season for CACC (his freshman season) ... He originally signed with CACC as an outfielder but also pitched early in the season and excelled in that role ... His CACC team won the NJCAA National Championship this season with Young throwing a complete-game victory in the championship game ... He has four years to play three at MSU ... He was drafted in the 21st round by the Cleveland Indians in the 2013 MLB Draft, although both Cleveland and San Diego expressed interest to him that they would draft him between the 5th and 10th rounds if he agreed to that slot money ... He chose MSU over offers from Florida, Florida State, Missouri and Ole Miss and strong interest from LSU.

Levi Mintz, RHP, 6-4, 185, R/R, Cedar Falls AL
He was selected the Alabama Sportswriters Association 2013 season 1A Pitcher of the Year and he was also selected to the USA Today 2013 ALL-USA Alabama Baseball Team, one of 18 players on the team ... During the 2013 season, he was 7-1 record with a 0.99 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 56.2 innings.

Lucas Laster, LHP, 6-1, 175, R/L, Columbia State Community College
This past season, Lucas was 6-2 with a 2.83 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 54 innings ... During his freshman season at CSCC, he was 8-1 with a 2.61 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 48.1 innings ... He played his high school ball at Cornersville High School in Lewisburg, TN

Seth Heck, INF, 5-foot-11, 170, R/R, Tacoma Community College (Kamiak High School, Edmonds, Washington)
In 2013 he hit .330 (62-188) in 51 games with a homer and 32 RBIs, and was named a NWAACC West Division all-star, a second-team NWAACC all-star, and the Gold Glover winner for shortstops (.960 fielding percentage) ... In 2012, Seth hit .355 (59-166) in 44 games, with 22 RBIs. He was a NWAACC West Division all-star, a second-team NWAACC all-star, and the Gold Glover winner for shortstops (.992 fielding percentage) ... A graduate of Kamiak High School in Edmonds, Wash. he was a Westco League all-star shortstop in 2010 and 2011 as well as a 2011 2nd team selection on the 4A All-State team.

Joey Swinarski, OF, 6-3, 192, R-R, The First Academy (Winter Park FL)
His honors include being selected to the Pefect Game 2013 Preseason All-American Underclass 2nd Team and the PG 2012 Preseason All-American Underclass Team as an Honorable Mention selection ... He is ranked among the top 100 players in the nation by national scouting service Perfect Game ... He was also selected to the 2012 Perfect Game 17U World Wood Bat Assocation All-Tournament Team after hitting .415 for the tourney .... During the 2013 season he hit .325 with 7 home runs and 18 RBI. He also had a .458 on-base percentage ... He chose MSU over interest from Florida, Florida State, Miami (FL), North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and South Carolina
