State Routs A&M 18-0 In Shortened Contest

First the game was delayed a day. And then it was shortened by two whole innings. In-between though the Diamond Dogs just took care of midweek business with a 18-0 rout of visiting Alabama A&M. "That was the whole mindset going in," said pitcher Kendall Graveman.

"We came out and played good ball. We hit the ball well, and we played good defense. Once we did that we kind of got on a roll and it was a good game." A good enough game that could by mutual agreement of the two coaches could be cut short. As soon as reliever C.C.
