The season is winding down for most teams around the country. A large percentage of those programs are already into basketball practice. The MSU commitment scoreboard update provides readers with a weekly update on how the Bulldogs-to-be are doing in their final seasons before arriving in Starkville.

Nickolas Brassell reeled in a 32 yard touchdown pass and Kendrick Market added a 40 yard fumble return as well as a 75 yard interception return for a score as South Panola (12-0) blasted Grenada 56-0.

The Tigers travel to Olive Branch next weekend in 6A second round playoff action.

Joe Price and Madison Central won 48-10 over Tupelo. A competitive first half kept things interesting, but the second half was all Jaguars.

MC will travel to NW Rankin next week in a rematch against the only team to beat them this season.

Justin Cox scored on a 47 yard run as West Point (11-1) knocked off Provine 36-14.

The Green Wave will travel to Oxford this week. This game will provide a rematch against one of the Wave's toughest opponents this season.

West Point turned back a two point conversion in the games final seconds to knock off the Chargers 22-20 earlier this season.

Josh Robinson and Franklinton won again. The Demons ran over Cox 67-20.

FHS will take on Leesville next week in second round playoff action.

Dak Prescott and Haughton won a shootout over St. Michael 64-54.

Dak and the Bucs will take on Woodlawn of Baton Rouge next weekend.

Should Dak and Josh both win their second round match-ups they will face each other in round three.

The magnificent high school career of C.J. Johnson is now down to a couple of All-Star games.

The previously undefeated Tornadoes fell to Hazlehurst and Gabriel Gray on Friday 16-14.

Justin Malone and MRA lost in the state title game to Jackson Academy on Friday 45-14. was in attendance and we will have video highlights up in the coming days.

Joe Morrow saw his state title hopes dashed at the hands of 6A south power Merdian, 22-0.

John Harris and Boyton Beach wrapped up their season on Friday with a 63-12 blowout loss to Boca Raton.

Preston Smith and Stephenson will take on Hillgrove Saturday in 1st round playoff action.

All other Mississippi State commitments have completed their seasons.
