MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update Week 6

Morrow has HUGE game

The MSU commitment scoreboard update is a free weekly feature that allows readers the chance to keep up with how the Bulldogs to be are doing in their final seasons before arriving on campus in Starkville.

Joe Morrow reeled in a season high 13 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns as Ocean Springs got by Hancock 28-17. The Greyhounds are now 4-1 on the season.

C.J. Johnson and Philadelphia remain unbeaten at 6-0 after blasting Newton 51-0. Phlly has only allowed 49 points on the season and the slimmest margin of victory has been 24 points.

Dak Prescott topped 300 yards passing on Friday as he accounted for five touchdowns. Haughton advances to 4-0 after destroying West Ouachita 51-20. Once again Dak was a spectator in the fourth quarter.

Devin Fosselman and James Maiden knocked off Crystal Springs 16-6 to move their record to 4-1 on the season. The team has already matched their win total of 2009 when the team went 4-6. The previous four seasons (2005-2008) Wilkinson County won just four total games.

Josh Robinson and Franklinton will keep the Pine Burr trophy again this year as FHS bests Bogalousa 60-8 to prove that they are the top program in Washington Parish once again. Franklinton has outscored their opponents the past two weeks to the tune of 120-14.

Justin Cox and West Point (4-1) won the battle of MSU commitments this week and his squad got by Rufus Warren and Gentry (2-3) 34-8.

Jermaine Whitehead and Amanda-Elzy got about .500 with a win over Montgomery to advance their record to 3-2 on the year. The Panthers will host Yazoo County next week in a region game.

Bernardrick McKinney and Rosa Fort tasted defeat for the first time this season as Center Hill got the win 15-12. The Lions will travel to Byhalia next week.

Darion Arrington scored from a yard out to cut Wayne County's lead to 14-7, but the Tomcats would get no closer as WC ran away with it 42-14.

Zachary Jackson and Heidelberg fall to 1-5 after getting shelled 41-0 at Laurel. Scout.com was on hand for the contest and will provide some video highlights at a later date.

Nick Redmond and Harrison Central were the talk of the region last season, but this year the Red Rebels have fallen on hard times. George County drops HC 35-15 which moves their record to 1-4 on the campaign.

Daniel Knox and West Lauderdale (0-6) remain winless on the season after falling to Louisville 21-7.

Darius Slay and ICC fell to EMCC 37-10 during Thursday's action.

The score of Devonte Scott and Ferriday's game with Wossman was not available at press time.
